Construction Estimator - CSA reputed company

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Construction Estimator with CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) experience to join our talented team.

The ideal individual will be a good communicator and reputed company player with a good reputed company in cost and estimating. 

Responsibilities:

• Developing cost plans and estimates from concept through detailed design.
• Supporting reputed company land acquisitions.
• Delivering and presenting updated cost plans at appropriate design milestones.
• Reviewing proposed design changes/new technologies and preparing estimates reputed company appropriate accuracy reputed company.
• Understanding design stages and estimate reputed company.
• Providing reputed company input to design optioneering and input into value engineering exercises.
• Preparing cash reputed company forecasts for the construction life cycle.
• Working collaboratively with stakeholders in the preparation of estimates/ cost plans.
• Analyzing labor markets and cost drivers such as unions & tax.
• Supporting our clients with monthly presentations.
• Delivering Life Cycle Costing models.
• Benchmarking integration to ensure accurate data capture.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.  

Project/Program specific responsibilities: 

• Individuals will be working as part of reputed company providing estimating support activities across a reputed company of life science sector reputed company and programmes.

Responsibilities will consist of:

• Preparation of benchmarking reports and development of appropriate data.
• Measurement and estimation from a first reputed company reputed company for reputed company at reputed company design stages.
• Proficient in measuring using reputed company Masterformat.
• Undertaking reviews of 3rd party estimates to identify alignment with the market and preparing reports to detail findings.
• Preparation of estimates for project change orders and review of EPCM submissions.

Market sector experience:

• Pharmaceutical manufacturing and R&D facilities
• CGMP facilities

Project/program size in dollar value: 

• Various, with reputed company ranging in size from $50m to $1bn+

Software specific requirements: 

• CostX experience preferred but not essential. Experience in measurement software essential.

Certification requirements:

• AACE membership or equivalent preferred but not essential.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field reputed company to construction.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working in a construction cost management role such as Estimating, Cost Engineer, Project Engineer, Project Cost Controls etc.
• Thrives in a reputed company facing role.
• Experience supporting program level cost management for reputed company or large-reputed company construction reputed company.
• Good knowledge of construction industry technical reputed company, such as value management and value engineering.
• Strong communication skills.

The salary reputed company for this full-time role is $110K - $150K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to reputed company a fair and reputed company salary.
