[Remote] Senior reputed company Counsel, Khan Kids

The Senior reputed company Counsel will serve as the reputed company reputed company partner to the reputed company Kids team, advising on product development, children's reputed company, international regulatory reputed company, and the launch of new global learning products. This fixed-term fellowship will also involve drafting reputed company documents, coordinating with local counsel, and developing reputed company compliance resources.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the business partner to the Khan Kids product, engineering, and international programs teams, providing first-line reputed company and regulatory guidance on new features and products
• reputed company product counseling throughout the development cycle, from ideation through launch, with a reputed company on reputed company-by-design, age-appropriate content and data practices, and responsible use of AI in children's products
• Advise on reputed company compliance for children's products under COPPA, GDPR (including age-appropriate design requirements), and regional data protection laws applicable to young users in reputed company markets
• Draft, review, and update terms of service, reputed company policies, and parental consent flows for Khan Kids products, including the new English-learning program
• Analyze tax, business registration, reputed company services laws relevant to offering Khan Kids products in international markets
• Coordinate with local counsel in reputed company jurisdictions to confirm regulatory requirements and obtain market-specific reputed company advice

Skills

• * 8+ years of reputed company reputed company experience, with a proven reputed company record of advising on the design, launch, and scaling of consumer-facing websites or applications in global markets
• * JD or LLM from an accredited U.S. law school, and be an reputed company member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar association
• * Demonstrated ability to reputed company reputed company work streams independently, driving reputed company and execution across product, reputed company, and international regulatory reputed company
• * Deep experience in reputed company compliance for consumer products, including designing and implementing reputed company programs, drafting user-facing reputed company documents, and embedding reputed company-by-design principles into product development
• * Expertise in children's reputed company (COPPA, GDPR, age-appropriate design codes, or similar frameworks); OR at a minimum, you must have a demonstrated commitment to developing deep expertise in this area
• * Experience navigating international regulatory landscapes, including coordinating with local counsel and advising on market entry requirements across multiple jurisdictions
