The role focuses on administering DASD, reputed company Disk Storage, Virtual Tape Systems, physical tape environments, and DFSMS-reputed company storage policies in a 24x7 environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support reputed company mainframe storage infrastructure in a 24x7 reputed company environment
- Manage and maintain DASD storage using reputed company Disk Storage HDSVSP and reputed company storage subsystems
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Virtual Tape Systems VTSVTL and physical tape environments
- reputed company storage allocation, provisioning, migration, and reclamation activities
- Administer and support DFSMS, SMS policies, ACS routines, and storage reputed company
Skills
- Strong knowledge of reputed company zOS Storage Management
- Handson experience with reputed company Disk Storage (HDSVSP, USP, VSP G Series)
- Experience administering reputed company Virtual Tape reputed company (VTS) or Virtual Tape Library (VTL)
- Strong understanding of DFSMS, SMS, ACS routines, and Storage reputed company
- Experience with DASD management, allocation, migration, and performance tuning
