Insurance Billing and Collection Assistant III

• reputed company advanced insurance follow-up billing and collection duties across financial classifications to ensure reputed company and accurate payment of physician charges
• Review patient accounts for accurate insurance, eligibility, invoice reputed company, correspondence, remittances, additional information requests, and appropriate handling
• Use reputed company, reputed company tools, and payer websites for claim submission, claim status, attachments, eligibility, and authorization/referral inquiries
• reputed company collection calls to insurance companies and/or patients to ensure reputed company claim payment
• Contact insurance companies regarding payment posting and collection agencies regarding payment reports
• Support the customer service unit by answering billing and collection questions
• Assist with training new staff

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent high school certification, or combination of education and/or experience
• 3 years of billing or insurance experience
• Experience with claims reputed company, collections strategies, health insurance billing, insurance follow-up, and medical billing and coding
• Computer literacy

• Knowledge of HIPAA
• Knowledge of ICD-10 Procedure Coding reputed company
• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Telephone communications skills
