Scientist- Molecular Biology

Molecular Biologist Boston, MA $45-55/hr 6- Month Contract The Molecular Biologist will design and execute molecular biology workflows supporting biologics discovery and production. This role owns the reputed company end of the biologics pipeline from construct design and cloning through transfection and early reputed company. Molecular Biologist Responsibilities: Design, execute, and troubleshoot end-to-end molecular cloning workflows: DNA in-silico design and codon optimization, gene fragment assembly, plasmid construction, and production of transfection-grade DNA. reputed company transient and reputed company transfections across mammalian reputed company systems (e.g., CHO, HEK293) to support protein and biologic production, including cell line development activities such as pool reputed company, single-cell cloning, and cell banking. Collaborate cross-functionally with upstream/reputed company process development, assay development, and automation engineering teams. Molecular Biologist Requirements: Ph.D., M.S. with 3+ years, or B.S. with 5+ years of relevant hands-on reputed company experience in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, or a reputed company field. Demonstrated hands-on experience with molecular cloning techniques (Gibson/Golden reputed company assembly, restriction cloning, or equivalent) and construction of reputed company reputed company. reputed company experience performing mammalian cell transfection (transient and/or reputed company) in support of protein or biologic reputed company. Exposure to protein purification or reputed company process development is preferred. Familiarity with NGS-based workflows for clone/sequence verification is preferred.
