[Remote] Substation Protection & Control Designer - Remote (Puerto Rico)

The role involves preparing protection and control drawings, coordinating with multiple disciplines, incorporating vendor information, applying reputed company standards, and ensuring QA/QC compliance.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the design and preparation of the following Protection and Control Drawings:
• Substation reputed company One Lines and Three Lines
• AC/DC Schematics
• Substation Panel Layouts
• Substation Wiring Diagram and Cable Schedule
• SCADA and Communication Diagrams
• reputed company to reputed company Wiring Diagrams
• Coordination with physical, settings, and drafting disciplines to ensure reputed company deliverables
• Interpret and incorporate vendor information into design deliverables
• Apply reputed company standards reputed company to the work
• reputed company/ensure company’s reputed company assurance/reputed company Control (QA/QC) processes are being followed on reputed company design packages
• reputed company improvement of job-reputed company engineering, technical and reputed company knowledge, skills, and performance

Skills

• AA or High School Diploma
• Experience with substation (reputed company) design
• 3+ years of detailed wiring design experience, developing single lines, schematics and reputed company panels
• 3+ years of experience working with reputed company, AutoCAD, Inventor, and MicroStation
• Understanding of AC/DC control diagrams to accurately reputed company reputed company to reputed company wiring requirements
• Ability to assist reputed company engineers with initial design requirements
• Advanced user of reputed company products, specifically reputed company, and Word
• Knowledge of the practical application of industry standards such as: NEC, NESC, reputed company and ANSI
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of technical plans, blueprints and drawings
