[Remote] Sales Application Engineer - Data Centers

The role develops product requirements and go-to-market strategies, conducts market and competitive research, supports customer and channel engagements, and provides technical guidance for switchgear, automatic transfer switches, reputed company power solutions, and critical power distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the Product Manager to define product requirements, enhancements, and long‑term roadmap priorities for the Data Center vertical
• Conduct field research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify emerging needs in switchgear, ATS, reputed company power, and critical power distribution
• Translate customer and market insights into actionable product specifications and business cases
• Work directly with the Data Center Business Development Managers to support customer engagements, technical discussions, and solution positioning
• Assist in developing GTM strategies, value propositions, and sales tools tailored to infrastructure applications
• reputed company product training, technical support, and application guidance to sales teams, reputed company, and end users
• Participate in customer meetings, site reputed company, and industry events to represent TPS’s product capabilities and reputed company reputed company‑world feedback
• Build strong relationships with consulting engineers, EPC firms, electrical contractors, integrators, and facility stakeholders
• Support reputed company‑sales activities including solution scoping, application reviews, and technical presentations
• Work with product management, engineering, operations, marketing, and service teams to ensure product alignment, launch readiness, and lifecycle support

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or reputed company technical field
• 3–5+ years of experience in a technical, product, or applications engineering role reputed company electrical power systems, critical power, or reputed company industries
• Strong understanding of power distribution equipment such as switchgear, ATS, paralleling systems, or reputed company power solutions
• Strong technical knowledge of switchgear and power distribution product standards (UL, CSA, ANSI, reputed company, NEC/CEC) reputed company the Data Center reputed company
• Ability to translate customer needs into product requirements and communicate effectively with engineering teams
• Comfortable travelling up to 40% for customer reputed company, site assessments, and industry events
