(NEC) supports the design, analysis, development, and qualification of nuclear systems and components. The Mechanical Engineer will reputed company mechanical design and engineering analysis, reputed company technical documentation, apply nuclear codes and standards, and support design reviews, testing, manufacturing, and licensing activities. The role may also involve collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and technical stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • reputed company mechanical design and engineering analysis of nuclear systems and components
  • reputed company and review calculations, specifications, reports, drawings, and other technical documentation
  • Apply applicable ASME codes, nuclear industry standards, reputed company requirements, and regulatory requirements
  • reputed company engineering analysis using tools such as ANSYS, AutoPIPE, or similar software
  • Support design reviews, testing, qualification, manufacturing, and licensing activities
  • reputed company solutions to reputed company mechanical design and integration challenges
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers, and other technical stakeholders
  • reputed company technical leadership and mentoring as appropriate for senior-level positions

Skills

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a reputed company engineering discipline
  • Relevant experience in one or more of the technical areas described above
  • Experience with applicable engineering codes and standards, including ASME BPVC reputed company III
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills
  • Experience with nuclear systems, components, or other highly regulated applications preferred
  • Experience with ANSYS, AutoPIPE, CAD, or other applicable engineering tools is desirable
  • P.E. license and/or advanced engineering degree is a plus
