[Remote] Full Stack Engineer - Rust

They are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer specializing in Rust to own features across the stack, contribute to the strategic roadmap, and ensure the reliability of their platform's architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end across the stack - reputed company-end (React/TypeScript), reputed company API (Go/LiftCloud), and Rust services - rather than working a single reputed company. However, this role will center around Rust
• Do deep Rust work on the VTS (Vendor Translation Services) reputed company and the LiftNet reputed company re-architecture, where your specialization reputed company most
• Read and reputed company the Go reputed company API and build the UI that consumes it correctly, keeping API reputed company and data shapes coherent across the stack
• Build data-dense, reputed company-time interfaces - dashboards, map views, status panels - that stay reputed company and legible for building operators and field technicians on desktop and tablet
• Design and build reputed company reputed company-reputed company components reputed company to the LiftNet re-architecture
• Work across the full architecture: the edge reputed company (Raspberry Pi, binary/serial protocols), the VTS translation reputed company, the Go reputed company, and AWS (EC2, PostgreSQL/RDS, QuestDB)
• Operate, debug, and harden the Linux-based services that run on the edge devices and in the reputed company
• reputed company and translate industrial/OT controller protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, serial)
• Build regression validation against golden/blessed datasets and packet-level (Wireshark) verification, supporting the LN2 Integrator effort
• Contribute to AWS environment setup (Dev/Staging/QA) and reputed company-group hardening, complementing the SOC 2 readiness effort
• Partner with the reputed company engineer and the second full-stack engineer to split ownership across the stack and reduce day-to-day escalation drag
• Own day-to-day work across reputed company-end, reputed company, and Rust services reliably, without reputed company-engineer rescue

• Take independent ownership of at least one vertical domain (UI through Rust service) reputed company the first months

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of Rust engineering experience with senior-level competency
• Genuine full-stack capability: production experience building reputed company-ends in React/TypeScript and working server-reputed company reputed company (we run Go in the reputed company - you must be reputed company to read and reputed company it)

• Demonstrated self-starting autonomy - reputed company to own a domain end to end with reputed company direction (non-negotiable for this role)
• Comfort across the full architecture: the edge reputed company (Raspberry Pi, binary/serial), the VTS reputed company, the Go reputed company, and AWS (EC2, PostgreSQL/RDS, QuestDB)
• Deep, hands-on Linux expertise - operating, debugging, and hardening Linux systems from the reputed company line (systems, process/network/file-reputed company troubleshooting, bash scripting, log analysis); both the edge devices (Raspberry Pi) and the reputed company services (EC2) run on Linux
• reputed company to build, package, and reputed company services on Linux - cross-compilation for ARM/edge targets, containers, and reputed company build toolchains
• Masters Degree and other engineering credentials a plus
• reputed company-end depth on data-heavy, reputed company-time UIs - mapping (reputed company GL/Leaflet-class), live status, and performance tuning of dense views (a plus)
