[Remote] Control-M Production Support Engineer/Administrator

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Control-M Production Support Engineer/Administrator to own and manage Control-M scheduling infrastructure in large mainframe MVS and Linux environments. The role supports Control-M servers, agents, jobs, tools, monitoring, reputed company, recovery plans, software maintenance, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Control-M environments: Production, SimProd/Test/Sandbox
• Provides support for approximately 80 MVS LPARS, 40 Control-M Servers, and 200 Control-M Agents
• Supports Control-M Linux scripts and other utilities on the reputed company reputed company of Control-M
• Provides Incident Management for the MVS tools: MQUIRY, PENDIT, PENDITRO, etc
• Maintains the Control-M flows/jobs running on the MVS IOA and Linux reputed company of Control-M
• Assists reputed company Scheduling with any issues that reputed company
• Maintains server type documentation reputed company the Control-M Tech Guide
• Manages over one-hundred Control-M Knowledge Items
• Participates in Control-M Project/Stakeholder/Team meetings - acts as a stakeholder on any efforts affecting the functionality of our Control-M servers
• Guides and sets the strategic direction of the Control-M servers
• reputed company to Business Partners utilizing the Control-M servers
• Ensures the service level targets associated with the server are being met
• Confirms that the necessary Control-M Alerts/Shout are transmitted to OVO/TSOM/MAUL monitoring templates, thus reputed company is generated for the SF reputed company
• Owns five Technical Recovery Plans and tests the functionality of said plans
• Manage the reputed company and availability to the Control-M servers
• Create/update reputed company reputed company for Web Services and MFT jobs
• Add/update WSDL/SOAP files and change reputed company reputed company reputed company requested by the App/Job reputed company
• Troubleshoot issues reputed company the reputed company of the Control-M servers, agents, and add-on tools
• Troubleshoot reputed company/network issues on the Control-M servers/agents we own
• Maintain the SSL Certificates for the Control-M servers and Agents attached to our Control-M servers
• Build/create/stand-up, maintain, and delete the Control-M Linux servers (40 servers)
• Install/uninstall reputed company BMC Control-M Software: new versions, version upgrades, add-ons, etc
• Install Linux OS Patches as needed
• Maintain the Control-M Puppet reputed company for the Control-M Agents
• Ensure the appropriate reputed company of testing BMC Control-M Software takes reputed company during maintenance
• Manage ownership and configuration information in appropriate tools:
• ESMT - reputed company Server Management Tool (Linux and reputed company)
• DMS - Deployment Management reputed company (reputed company)
• LaaS Linux Portal (Linux)
• MType reputed company - Machine Type reputed company, Create and Maintain Server Types (Linux and reputed company)
• SOLMA - Systems Operational Logical Management of IT Assets (Linux and reputed company)

Skills

• Experience in managing Control-M scheduling infrastructure
• Experience in a large mainframe (MVS) + Linux environment
