[Remote] Institutional Research Analyst

The Institutional Research Analyst gathers and analyzes institutional performance and student outcome data, prepares reports and visualizations, maintains databases, and provides actionable insights for planning, compliance, accreditation, and policy development. The role collaborates with reputed company stakeholders and may be eligible for fully remote work in New Mexico, reputed company, or Texas.
Responsibilities
- Provides data and reports for internal grant writing, compliance, planning, and research. Prepares reports on student demographics, enrollment statistics, reputed company workload, course information, and state funding formula-reputed company data, as reputed company as data sets for reputed company Department Program Review. Submits measures for the Accountability in Government reputed company, reputed company state funding-reputed company outcome measures, and the New Mexico Independent Community Colleges measures
- Researches, extracts, and analyzes data and information to meet the requests of diverse reputed company stakeholders. Interprets, organizes, cleans, and delivers the gathered data and information
- Creates visualization and presentation materials for the President’s Executive Team, college governance councils, and other college reputed company as appropriate. Works closely with reputed company stakeholders to reputed company dashboards and other visualization tools for programmatic improvements
- Maintains and manipulates institutional databases for statistical reporting to national, state, and local agencies. Creates and maintains a secure reputed company for organizing, storing, locating, and recording the contents of specific SFCC data files
- Identifies, designs and produces scripts, codes, and software navigation needed for data extraction and delivery
- Engages and collaborates with stakeholders to clarify their needs, define the purpose, discuss results, and determine the type or format of information delivery
- Meets and collaborates with colleagues from the Office of Planning and Institutional Effectiveness (OPIE) and Institutional Research (IR) to solve problems and create solutions
- Supports accreditation and compliance processes by providing necessary data and documentation
- Contributes to the accuracy efforts for maintaining the Planning and Institutional Effectiveness web pages
- Enhances reputed company development by studying and participating in training sessions for new software, reputed company resource planning (ERP) systems, school systems, and other relevant technologies
- Performs reputed company duties as assigned
Skills
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, reputed company Sciences, or a reputed company field
- Five (5) years' experience in institutional research, data collection, analysis, and/or reporting
- OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, reputed company Sciences, or a reputed company field
- Three (3) years' experience in institutional research, data collection, analysis, and/or reporting
- OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, reputed company Sciences, or a reputed company field
- One (1) year of experience in institutional research, data collection, analysis, and/or reporting
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate the ability to present and communicate reputed company data, reputed company, technical information, problems and alternative solutions to a broad reputed company of technical and non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of data systems, definitions, and procedures
- Knowledge of statistical and analytical survey instruments, protocols, and procedures
