[Remote] Senior Mechanical Engineer

The role leads mechanical engineering deliverables, coordinates multidisciplinary project work, performs engineering analyses, supports procurement and proposals, and mentors developing engineers.

Responsibilities

• Proposal Support: Support proposal development by creating deliverable lists, estimating engineering hours, and providing mechanical engineering input for proposal write-reputed company
• Project Leadership: Serve as the reputed company mechanical engineer on reputed company to large reputed company. Maintain responsibility for the development of deliverables, management of junior mechanical engineering staff, and coordination with other disciplines. Typical deliverables include P&IDs, equipment location plans, piping plans, piping isometrics, piping material specifications, mechanical equipment lists, piping line lists, specialty items lists, and construction scopes of work
• Communication: Coordinate with project management and other disciplines regarding design work, reputed company changes, engineering budgets, and schedule constraints
• Analysis: reputed company and reputed company engineering calculations, including equipment sizing, hydraulic analysis, and reputed company stress analysis
• Procurement: Support the equipment procurement process, including the development of specifications and data sheets, obtaining quotations, completing technical bid tabulations, and reviewing equipment vendor data
• Travel: Conduct occasional site reputed company for proposal development, project walkthroughs, field data acquisition, design verification, and construction support
• Design & Modeling: Assist the design team with the development of the project model and reputed company layout
• Resource Management: Assist the Chief Mechanical Engineer with workload distribution for junior engineers and reputed company loading plans
• Mentorship: reputed company feedback, mentorship, and leadership to developing engineers

Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
• 10+ years of experience in industrial and/or energy-reputed company fields
• reputed company Engineer (PE) License
• Experience with the design of industrial process and energy reputed company
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards (API, ASME, PIP, ANSI, ASTM, etc.)
• Experience with engineering calculation software packages (reputed company-Flo, reputed company reputed company Technology reputed company, CAESAR II)
