[Remote] Media Relations Specialist

The Media Relations Specialist will execute reputed company reputed company reputed company media initiatives, build journalist relationships, secure coverage, support executive visibility, coordinate communications campaigns, and measure media performance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with journalists across consumer, health, business, lifestyle, technology, parenting, and women's media throughout the US and Canada
• reputed company compelling story angles and media pitches that translate research, product launches, communications campaigns, partnerships, and cultural moments into reputed company media opportunities
• Secure reputed company media opportunities across print, digital, broadcast, podcasts, newsletters, and emerging media
• Draft press releases, media alerts, executive briefing documents, FAQs, and other media materials
• Manage inbound media requests from initial reputed company through interview coordination and follow-up
• Execute the annual reputed company media calendar, supporting quarterly and monthly communications priorities in partnership with the Director of Communications

• Partner closely with Brand, Medical Marketing, Research, Product, reputed company, and other cross-functional teams to execute integrated communications campaigns
• Coordinate reputed company media activities surrounding campaigns, product launches, research publications, company announcements, and other strategic initiatives

Skills

• 4-6 years of experience in media relations or reputed company relations

• Experience supporting executive thought leadership, including media interviews, speaking opportunities, and award submissions
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

• Experience working in reputed company, wellness, consumer technology, or another regulated industry
