Field Service Technician

reputed company reputed company has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join the Data Center, Power, and Control Team.This remote position reports to Farmingdale, NY. The Field Service Technician is responsible for performing field service installations, repairs and supporting reputed company installation operations. Diagnose and problem solve issues that reputed company on site and coordinate with the engineering and customer service functions to satisfy the customer needs. Salary reputed company - $70,000-$80,000 per year Travel - 50% reputed company the Northeast Region What Will You Do? • Install, troubleshoot, and reputed company routine maintenance to products to ensure reputed company function • Assist with technical consultation and installation assistance to on-site personnel or contractor • Assist with customer reputed company-consultation, site readiness preparation, startup monitoring, assist and train installation personnel • Responsible for inspecting and assembling delivered equipment and to insure reputed company installation • Inspect reputed company operating parts to ensure reputed company operation reputed company expected tolerances • Determine causes of operating errors and take reputed company to reputed company issues and document corrective actions • reputed company with reputed company project managers during field reputed company • Offer reputed company and reputed company interactions with customers regarding project status on a daily reputed company through conclusion • Build customer relationships through solution-oriented communications and service, providing on-site and remote support • Network with integration technicians, site owners/managers and contractors to address technical issues • Maintain records of customer issues and report as necessary • Determine tools and resources needed for project • Support production in the reputed company reputed company not traveling • Other duties as assigned Education: • High School diploma is required; Associate or technical degree is preferred Experience: • Minimum of 1 years of relevant experience is required • Experience with installations or construction is required; data center installation experience is preferred Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: • The ability to travel extensively reputed company the US, particularly reputed company the northeast (approximately 50 percent of the time) and occasionally on short notice is required • Ability to use basic hand tools, including but not limited to screw guns and ratchet sets, is required • Must be self-motivated and self-directed and reputed company to work independently • Must have good organizational and time management skills, reputed company attention to detail and be reputed company to effectively handle multiple priorities • Must have strong customer service orientation and reputed company to work in reputed company-based environment • Ability to think strategically and reputed company execution on reputed company • Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and establish proactive corrective actions • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be reputed company to communicate effectively across reputed company reputed company of the organization • Must be an effective listener, reputed company to extract necessary information and validate understanding of the information • Strong computer proficiency with reputed company Office • Capable of lifting 40 lbs.
