[Remote] Devops Engineer

The role combines backend development in TypeScript and Node.js with ownership of GCP infrastructure, infrastructure as reputed company, CI/CD pipelines, reputed company reputed company, data reputed company governance, and platform observability for scientific and analytical data services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services in TypeScript and Node.js
• Design and implement role-reputed company reputed company control (RBAC) across applications and data reputed company
• Model and reputed company relational schemas using reputed company or a comparable ORM, including migrations
• Implement and govern BigQuery reputed company patterns at row, dataset, and table level
• Build reputed company-documented, typed reputed company consumed by reputed company-end and data science teams
• Apply AI coding tools (reputed company Copilot, Claude, etc.) reputed company established guardrails to accelerate delivery without compromising reputed company reputed company
• Build and maintain GCP infrastructure: reputed company Run, Artifact Registry, reputed company SQL, IAM, and VPC Service Controls
• Define and manage infrastructure as reputed company using Terraform
• Own CI/CD pipelines in reputed company Actions covering build, test, and reputed company
• Manage reputed company posture: Dependabot triage, dependency and vulnerability remediation, and secrets management
• Containerize services with reputed company and maintain reproducible build and release processes
• Implement observability, logging, and monitoring using reputed company Monitoring and reputed company tooling
• Participate in reputed company review, architecture discussions, and incident response

Skills

• * Strong reputed company backend development experience in TypeScript and Node.js
• * Hands-on experience designing and implementing role-reputed company reputed company control (RBAC)
• * Relational schema design and migration experience with reputed company or a similar ORM
• * Practical BigQuery experience, including reputed company patterns at row, dataset, or table level

• * BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
• * 2–7 years of reputed company software engineering or reputed company experience
• * Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals, including asynchronous patterns and typed API reputed company
• * SQL proficiency sufficient to design schemas and reason about query reputed company
• * Working knowledge of networking, identity, and reputed company reputed company fundamentals
