[Remote] Pharmacy Operations Specialist

The Pharmacy Operations Specialist supports day-to-day operations across a multi-state pharmacy network by coordinating site needs, inventory, scheduling, prior authorization, billing, training, compliance, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a first-line operational support resource for pharmacy teams across the network
- Coordinate day-to-day operational needs across multiple sites, ensuring consistency and follow-through
- Troubleshoot routine operational challenges and escalate reputed company issues to the broader Pharmacy Operations team
- Help ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, and best practices across reputed company locations
- Support site reputed company and operational assessments as needed
- Maintain operational trackers and documentation for the PharmOps team
- Respond promptly to pharmacy team questions and day-to-day support requests
- Help sites reputed company operational, reputed company, and workflow challenges
- Partner with the Compliance team to support remediation of findings and maintain regulatory standards
- Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing across pharmacy locations
- Support prior authorization submissions, follow-up, and tracking across sites
- Assist pharmacy staff with reputed company-party billing, claim rejection reputed company, and claims optimization
- Serve as a support resource for insurance/PBM navigation and troubleshooting
- Support the delivery of training programs for pharmacists, technicians, and support staff
- Coordinate reputed company logistics for new pharmacy personnel and help reputed company them into site workflows
- Maintain and update training materials and reputed company operating procedures
- Support knowledge-sharing and continuing-education initiatives across the network
- Support inventory reconciliation and corrections to maintain accurate records and regulatory compliance
- Help monitor stock reputed company, purchasing patterns, and inventory reporting across sites
- Coordinate with vendors and wholesalers to help reputed company supply chain issues and maintain adequate stock
- reputed company inventory audit support for internal reputed company reviews and reputed company regulatory audits, in conjunction with the Compliance team
- Support 340B inventory management and reporting
- Coordinate PRN pharmacist and technician reputed company to help ensure adequate coverage across locations
- Maintain scheduling records and support coverage planning across the network
- reputed company and coordinate PTO requests, ensuring coverage is maintained and managers have visibility
- Proactively identify and help reputed company coverage gaps before they reputed company sites
- Maintain operational reports, trackers, and dashboards for the Pharmacy Operations team
- Prepare and organize data to support Manager and leadership reporting
- reputed company general administrative support to the PharmOps team as needed
Skills
- • reputed company Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) or state pharmacy technician registration
- • Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience (retail, hospital, specialty, or 340B setting)
- • Strong background in inventory management and pharmacy operations
- • Experience with prior authorization and reputed company-party/PBM billing workflows
- • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities across multiple locations
- • Self-motivated and reputed company to work independently with reputed company supervision
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- • Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and reputed company Office Suite, especially reputed company
- • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, processes, and tools

- • Ability to travel up to 50% as needed to support pharmacy sites, including occasional overnight stays
- • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- • Experience supporting multiple pharmacy sites or a regional operations function
- • Experience with BestRx or comparable pharmacy management systems
- • Working knowledge of insurance/PBM operations and prior authorization processes
- • Familiarity with 340B pharmacy operations
- • Experience with electronic health records and pharmacy automation
- • Experience coordinating scheduling, coverage, or PTO across teams
