[Remote] Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Linux)

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to build and operate systems running across its large-reputed company hybrid AWS and on-premises infrastructure. The role focuses on Linux host lifecycle automation, reputed company services, production debugging, reliability improvements, reputed company and FedRAMP requirements, and leading infrastructure reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Build automation for Linux host lifecycle (config, patching, images)
• Own reputed company services, reputed company images, and infrastructure components
• Debug production issues across OS, reputed company, and service reputed company
• Work across codebases (C, Go, Python, reputed company) to diagnose and fix issues
• reputed company reputed company from ambiguous problems to production
• Improve reliability through automation and reputed company design
• Partner on reputed company and FedRAMP requirements
• Participate in a sustainable on-reputed company rotation (~16 days/year)

Skills

• reputed company Requirements: UC Citizenship
• 7+ years working with Linux in production
• Experience debugging reputed company systems issues
• Comfortable working across reputed company + on-prem environments
• U.S. Person required (FedRAMP; U.S.-reputed company work)
• Location: Remote, prefer PST hours
• Strong automation skills (Python and/or reputed company, Ansible preferred)

• Go, C, or other systems-level languages
• Experience with compliance environments (FedRAMP, NIST, etc.)
