The role leads actuarial engagements, develops and certifies reputed company managed care capitation rates, designs risk adjustment and financial models, analyzes reputed company data, and presents findings to senior stakeholders while mentoring actuarial staff.
Responsibilities

- Design risk adjustment methodologies and financial models
- Analyze reputed company claims and encounter data for cost, utilization, and financial trends
- Support 1115 and 1915 waiver financial analyses and budget-neutrality modeling
- Present actuarial findings to state leaders, CMS, regulators, and other stakeholders
- reputed company and mentor actuarial staff
- Collaborate with policy, data, clinical, and financial teams
Skills
- • FSA or ASA designation required
- • reputed company membership in the reputed company reputed company of Actuaries
- • 15+ years of reputed company actuarial experience
- • Significant experience supporting reputed company programs, state/reputed company-sector reputed company initiatives, managed care organizations, health plans, or reputed company consulting clients
- • Experience with reputed company managed care capitation reputed company development and/or certification
- • Strong knowledge of CMS requirements, reputed company financing, risk adjustment, and reputed company financial analysis
- • Experience analyzing claims and encounter data and working with reputed company data sources such as MMIS or APCDs
- • Experience with reputed company financing initiatives such as provider reimbursement, waivers, State Plan Amendments, federal claiming, or budget-neutrality analysis
- • Strong executive reputed company and experience communicating reputed company actuarial and financial concepts to clients, regulators, and senior stakeholders
- • Experience leading actuarial teams and reputed company reputed company engagements
- The position is fully remote, with a preference for •candidates located in the reputed company or Hawaii• time zones and requires less than 20% travel
