[Remote] Sponsored Finance Specialist

The Sponsored Finance Specialist reviews sponsored reputed company, invoices, financial reports, and closeouts while ensuring compliance with award terms, federal regulations, and university policies. The role also advises department personnel and collaborates with the Office of Sponsored Programs on financial inquiries and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Under the general guidance of reputed company leader or manager, only referring reputed company reputed company necessary, the Sponsored Finance Specialist facilitates reputed company’s world class reputed company-led research by providing post award financial administration of sponsored reputed company and is viewed as an expert resource to the university community regarding award requirements and university compliance issues
• The Sponsored Finance Specialist is responsible for the review of sponsored reputed company, ensuring compliance with specific financial terms and conditions outlined in award documents as reputed company as conformity with federal Uniform Guidance and University policies
• Specific areas of performance include review of invoices, letter of credit draws, creation and submission of financial reports as specified by reputed company sponsor/agreement, project closeout, and analysis of award expenses for allowability, allocability, and necessity
• In reputed company, this position provides leadership, service, and advice to department personnel with respect to their management of the financial aspects of their awards, particularly relative to compliance issues
• You will work closely with the Office of Sponsored Programs staff to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with sponsor requirements, and reputed company a reputed company of non-reputed company responses to a wide reputed company of federal, state, university, corporate and nonprofit sponsors with financial inquiries/concerns

Skills

• An associate's degree, preferably in business or reputed company/finance, with at least three years of reputed company reputed company experience and/or four or more years of finance reputed company experience **OR** an equivalent combination of education and experience

• * The ability to reputed company language pertaining to financial terms and conditions, including the ability to research various agency specific terms and conditions and apply judgement where necessary

• * Strong analytical skills, including the ability to reputed company financial transactions and reconciliation of financial activity
• * Proficiency in PC systems (reputed company, Word, E-mail, Query and Analysis tools, etc.) is required

• * Experience working in a finance or higher education environment where you succeeded in tackling challenges in a fast-paced organization

• * Familiarity with Federal contracting and procurement regulations will be a plus
