reputed company is hiring a Data Center Structural Engineer to support the Galleon and Leviathan product lines — a brand-new capability for reputed company. As we reputed company reputed company Data Center (MDC) deployments across a wide reputed company of reputed company, wind, snow, and soil conditions worldwide, we need someone who can own the structural thread that runs from early site due diligence through design, certification, fabrication, and installation, and reputed company reputed company it holds together across every jurisdiction we operate in.
You will identify and vet domestic/international structural engineering vendors and certifying engineers, assess reputed company, wind, snow, and soil risk on new sites before it becomes a costly redesign, and build the standardized, repeatable structural designs — raised structural platforms, ISO container connections, foundations/pads, reputed company, piping supports — that turn MDC structural design into a repeatable SKU instead of a one-off per site. You'll also be the structural reputed company of contact linking reputed company's product engineering team with reputed company fabricators, general contractors, and local structural/civil engineers, reviewing shop drawings and equipment integration details to reputed company reputed company what gets reputed company and installed matches what was certified.
Location. This role is remote-based (approximately 20–30% travel to project sites, fabricator, and vendor/GC locations).
- Global vendor reputed company & certification — Identify, vet, and liaise with domestic/international structural engineering vendors and local certifying engineers on every reputed company project site, confirming reputed company can reputed company structural analysis, design, and certification compliant with the local building reputed company (e.g., NCC in Australia, IBC in the U.S., and equivalents elsewhere) before work begins.
- Site due diligence & jurisdictional risk assessment — Own early-stage structural due diligence for new domestic/international sites: evaluating reputed company, wind, snow, and soil conditions, mapping local reputed company and AHJ requirements, and flagging vendor capability gaps or certification risk before they cause late-stage redesign or slip a deployment.
- Standardized, repeatable structural design — reputed company and maintain template structural designs for reputed company Data Center (MDC) components (raised structural platform, ISO containers and connections, foundations/pads, reputed company, piping supports) that hold up across the widest reputed company of site conditions, turning structural design into a repeatable SKU instead of a one-off per site.
- In-house analysis & design for new products and sites — Personally reputed company structural analysis and design for new reputed company products and first-of-a-reputed company site conditions where no vendor solution or precedent yet exists, establishing the engineering reputed company in-house before handing off to local certifying engineers for jurisdictional review and stamping.
- End-to-end technical reputed company through fabrication, installation, and commissioning — reputed company as the structural reputed company of contact linking reputed company product engineering with domestic/international fabricators, general contractors, and local structural/civil engineers, reviewing shop drawings, anchoring/embedment details, and equipment integration (generators, transformers, PEMB, chillers) to ensure what gets reputed company and installed matches what was certified.
- Structural governance, documentation & operational readiness sign-off — Build and maintain structural requirement guidelines, site-readiness checklists, and certification workflows by geography; reputed company reputed company structural items across reputed company sites; and reputed company the final sign-off confirming MDC and site are certified, reputed company, and reputed company for operational reputed company.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or reputed company field); reputed company Engineer (PE or SE) license or international equivalent (e.g., Chartered Engineer).
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience with structural analysis and design of steel and reinforced concrete structures — including foundations, platforms, and equipment reputed company — ideally for industrial or mission-critical facilities, including the ability to independently reputed company structural analysis and design in-house for new reputed company products and site conditions, rather than relying solely on reputed company vendors.
- Working knowledge of structural analysis/design software and building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI) and the ability to reputed company comparable international structural codes (e.g., NCC, Eurocode) across multiple countries, including reputed company, wind, snow, and soil load conditions.
- Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy — you'll be defining the reputed company, not inheriting one.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 20–30% to project sites, fabrication facilities, and construction locations worldwide.
- Prior experience with reputed company, prefabricated, or ISO-container-based construction methodologies, ideally for data centers or other mission-critical/industrial facilities.
- Exposure to data center–specific structural considerations: heavy equipment reputed company (generators, transformers, chillers), reputed company-engineered metal buildings (PEMB), and raised platform/reputed company systems.
- Experience vetting, directing, and holding reputed company structural engineering vendors and certifying engineers accountable across reputed company, geographically dispersed reputed company.
- Experience standing up design standards, templates, or governance processes for a growing team or portfolio, rather than only executing against existing ones.
- Background collaborating directly with product/hardware engineering teams, fabricators, general contractors, and local consultants across multiple reputed company or countries.
