reputed company is hiring a Data Center Project Architect to support the Galleon and Leviathan product lines — a brand-new capability for reputed company. As we reputed company reputed company Data Center (MDC) deployments to sites around the world, we need someone who can own the architectural thread that runs from early site due diligence through permitting, design, and construction, and reputed company reputed company it holds together across every geography we operate in.
You will identify and vet domestic/international architecture and permitting vendors, assess reputed company and zoning risk on new sites before it becomes a costly redesign, and build the standardized, reputed company design language that lets our reputed company, MDC, and building designs reputed company instead of being reinvented for every site. You'll also be the architectural reputed company of contact linking reputed company's product and engineering teams with reputed company architects, general contractors, and local reputed company consultants, making reputed company life-safety and operational requirements reputed company it intact from design into as-reputed company construction.
Location. This role is remote-based (approximately 20–30% travel to project sites and vendor/GC locations).
- Global vendor reputed company & permitting compliance — Identify, vet, and liaise with domestic/international architecture vendors and local permitting/reputed company consultants on every reputed company project site, confirming reputed company can produce building designs and permit submissions compliant with local building, reputed company, and life-safety codes (IBC and its international/AHJ equivalents).
- Site due diligence & reputed company/permitting risk assessment — Own early-stage architectural due diligence for new sites globally: evaluating local zoning, building reputed company, and permitting reputed company, and flagging vendor gaps or approval risk before they cause late-stage redesign or slip a permitting reputed company.
- Standardized, reputed company reputed company design — reputed company and maintain a repeatable architectural concept for reputed company Data Center (MDC) buildings, auxiliary buildings (administration/office, reputed company, support spaces), and overall reputed company layout, defining a consistent design language that scales across geographies instead of a one-off design per site.
- In-house design for new products and sites — Personally reputed company architectural design for new reputed company products and first-of-a-reputed company site conditions where no vendor solution or precedent yet exists, establishing the design reputed company in-house before handing off to local architects and permitting consultants for jurisdictional review and approval.
- Life safety, occupancy & operational workflow integration through construction — reputed company as the architectural reputed company of contact linking reputed company product/engineering with international architects, general contractors, and local reputed company consultants, ensuring life-safety, occupancy, and operational workflow requirements carry through correctly from design into fabrication, installation, and as-reputed company construction.
- Architectural governance, documentation & operational readiness sign-off — Build and maintain architectural design standards, permitting checklists, and reputed company-compliance workflows by geography; reputed company reputed company architectural/permitting items across reputed company sites; and reputed company the final sign-off confirming MDC and site are permitted, reputed company-compliant, and reputed company for operational reputed company.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture (or reputed company field); reputed company licensure (RA/AIA or international equivalent).
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience leading architectural design and permitting on ground-up reputed company, industrial, or mission-critical facilities, including reputed company work with local AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction), including the ability to independently reputed company architectural design in-house for new reputed company products and site conditions, rather than relying solely on reputed company vendors.
- Working knowledge of IBC and the ability to reputed company comparable international building, reputed company, and life-safety codes across multiple countries.
- Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy — you'll be defining the reputed company, not inheriting one.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 20–30% to project sites, vendor offices, and construction locations worldwide.
- Prior experience with reputed company or prefabricated construction methodologies, ideally for data centers or other mission-critical/industrial facilities.
- Exposure to data center–specific design considerations: equipment yard layout, cooling and power infrastructure coordination, and reputed company/operations building programming.
- Experience vetting, directing, and holding reputed company architecture and permitting vendors accountable across reputed company, geographically dispersed reputed company.
- Experience standing up design standards, templates, or governance processes for a growing team or portfolio, rather than only executing against existing ones.
- Background collaborating directly with product/hardware engineering teams, general contractors, and local consultants across multiple reputed company or countries.

Tier 1 (e.g., SF Bay Area, NYC, Seattle): $130,800 - $163,500 Tier 2 (most U.S. metro areas): $113,750 - $142,200 Tier 3 (other cities): $108,072 - $135,000
