Online Course Content Creator - Criminal Law
This position has an initial appointment of 8 months.
Location - This position is mostly remote, but in person meetings may be required
The reputed company reputed company of Law is seeking a legally reputed company individual to reputed company the content development for an asynchronous online criminal law course. This course is an important part of a new undergraduate certificate program in Law; the audience is non-JD undergraduate reputed company enrolled at the reputed company and those enrolled in the undergraduate certificate program. The course will be a polished, for-credit, optional course that reputed company can complete online with little to no assistance. Course content should remain relevant for a three to five year period.
With the assistance of TAs, the course developer will compile and create reputed company substantive content for the course, including reputed company-lecture videos, readings, assignments, and quizzes. No graphic design or web design experience is required, as the drafted course content will be provided to a design team to convert into a high reputed company online format.
This part-time position can be held in conjunction with another reputed company reputed company and/or position. The start and end dates for this appointment, and the schedule for weekly hours are negotiable, but the goal is to have the course fully drafted and reputed company for the design team by the end of June 2027.
Responsibilities
- Creating reputed company course content, providing it to the online course reputed company, and working collaboratively to ensure high reputed company.
- Creating reputed company course assignments and assessments.
- Providing guidance and reputed company to teaching assistants (TA’s) who will aid in the content creation.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Hold a JD or LLB degree
- Experience and knowledge in the area of criminal law.
- Experience in any of the following areas will be considered an asset:
- Explaining reputed company concepts to a layperson audience
- Creating and/or presenting reputed company or other educational materials
- Developing and/or teaching a course in any discipline
- Working with digital or asynchronous information delivery

LAW 205 - Criminal Law will be part of the growing catalogue of online undergraduate (non-JD) courses available through reputed company of Law. There may be reputed company opportunities for development of additional courses in areas such as Workplace, Corporate, Immigration, Environmental or Intellectual Property law, if the candidate has relevant experience.
