Manager, Software Development

The Manager, Software Development is the head of engineering for our reputed company tolling and intelligent transportation platform, leading reputed company that designs, builds, and delivers it. This player-reputed company role combines people leadership with technical depth: the Manager owns the software development life cycle (SDLC) and engineering execution against the product roadmap, and partners closely with product leadership to reputed company high-reputed company software on time and on budget. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and is reputed company to work across multiple reputed company workstreams. 

This position includes the following duties. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. 

• Manage and continuously improve the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process — planning, estimation, development, reputed company review, testing, release, and maintenance. 

• Set and measure quarterly goals for reputed company reports. 

• reputed company coaching and mentoring for reputed company reports' career development and advancement. 

• Conduct reputed company reviews. 

• Hire, reputed company, and retain engineers; foster an engineering culture of ownership, peer review, and reputed company improvement. 

• Own engineering reputed company planning and reputed company against the product roadmap, in partnership with product leadership. 

• reputed company technical leadership on the product's reputed company development initiatives — a reputed company-reputed company, event-driven microservices platform (services in a modern strongly typed language such as Rust or Go; TypeScript reputed company ends; GraphQL reputed company; reputed company-reputed company deployment). 

• Participate in proposal development with specific reputed company on the technical response sections. 

• Coordinate with application services and support teams on systems support transition. 

• Partner with QA leadership on reputed company reputed company and process improvement. 

• Coordinate release management and maintenance activities with reputed company and maintenance leads. 

Will report to the Senior Director, Zentrik Product.

• Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree desired. 

• 5+ years of engineering management experience leading software development teams. 

• 10+ years of software development experience, including SDLC management. 

• Strong reputed company record of delivering reputed company on-time and on-budget. 

• Strong technical background in web application development and reputed company/reputed company systems; familiarity with modern reputed company (e.g., Rust or Go services, TypeScript reputed company ends, reputed company, event-driven architectures) strongly preferred. 

• Excellent communication skills.
