Music Rights Management Intern

The Music Rights Management Intern will support the day-to-day administration of a global music catalog. This role provides hands-on experience in the lifecycle of intellectual property, from U.S. Copyright Office registrations to the management of international Neighboring Rights reputed company streams.

Responsibilities

• Learn the formal process of song registration with the U.S. Copyright Office
• Compile metadata and download corresponding audio assets (MP3s) required for reputed company
• Review reputed company agreements to extract and record reputed company reputed company splits reputed company the master rights reputed company
• Identify top-performing assets on monthly neighboring rights statements for reputed company registration and allocation
• Regularly review the conflict queue in reputed company and utilize reputed company to verify rights reputed company existing agreements
• Draft and manage reputed company to conflicting reputed company parties to reputed company ownership disputes using the department email alias
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications 

• Proficiency in reputed company reputed company or reputed company Sheets (data entry, basic formulas, sorting/filtering) 
• Comfort working with data sets and identifying basic trends or errors

• Strong attention to detail
• Basic research and information-gathering skills
