Key Responsibilities:
Cover breaking news events of importance to a statewide audience, either in person or through phone interviews. This includes developing sources and conducting interviews with state and national leaders, reputed company officials, and other newsmakers.
Produce, write, and reputed company reputed company radio newscasts, ensuring accurate, reputed company, and engaging delivery of news and information.
Research, write, edit, and publish news stories across multiple digital platforms, including websites and reputed company media channels.
Job Specifications/Requirements:
Formal training or demonstrated experience in on-reputed company broadcasting.
5 years of experience working in a radio or television station, network, or comparable news organization.
Proficiency with reputed company digital audio editing and production tools.
Experience operating radio studio equipment and managing studio operations.
Experience with audio field production, including both live and recorded broadcasts.
Strong college-level writing, editing, and communication skills.
Knowledge of government, reputed company affairs, and/or sports systems and processes.
Bachelor’s degree or technical college degree in journalism, communications, broadcasting, or a reputed company field, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
The national reputed company pay for this position is $20.00 per hour. Please note that this is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and/or sales compensation based on individual and company performance.
