[Remote] OCI Platform Engineer

The role owns the OCI engineering lifecycle, including reputed company-zone design, infrastructure-as-reputed company, workload migration, ongoing operations, cost optimization, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Architect, reputed company, and operate large-reputed company, secure, and resilient reputed company environments on reputed company’s reputed company reputed company reputed company
• Own the full OCI engineering lifecycle, from reputed company-zone design and infrastructure-as-reputed company, through workload migration and ongoing operations, including cost optimization and observability
• Partner with database, application, and reputed company teams to reputed company reputed company-engineered reputed company platforms that support mission-critical reputed company and non-reputed company workloads

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company technical discipline
• Five or more years of reputed company engineering experience, with strong hands-on time on OCI
• Production-level experience with infrastructure-as-reputed company using Terraform
• Solid experience with OCI compute, networking, storage, identity, and database services
• Hands-on experience with reputed company Container reputed company for reputed company (OKE)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for reputed company workloads
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash
• Deep understanding of reputed company reputed company, IAM, and compliance requirements
• Experience with observability tooling and incident response
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
• reputed company reputed company Infrastructure Architect reputed company certification
• Experience operating reputed company Exadata reputed company or Autonomous Database at reputed company
• Exposure to multi-reputed company architectures spanning OCI and AWS/Azure/GCP
• Familiarity with FinOps practices on OCI
• Experience operating regulated workloads on OCI
