[Remote] Network Engineer Senior

The Senior Network Engineer role is responsible for maintaining network connectivity services, performing device configurations and upgrades, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring network service infrastructure design and engineering. The position requires proactive problem identification, effective communication across technical and non-technical personnel, and contributing to standards and guidelines development.

Responsibilities

• Provides and maintains network connectivity services for reputed company networks
• Performs device configurations, internal operating reputed company upgrades, and software upgrades, and deploys network devices including routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls
• Assists with troubleshooting reputed company equipment and reputed company other network issues
• Monitors, responds, and provides reputed company for reputed company network problems and incident tickets
• Utilizes a case management reputed company (CMS), documents status updates and problem resolutions
• Follows documented network services processes and procedures; identifies gaps in processes or documentation and suggests improvements
• Performs customer service duties and responds to customer requests as defined by management
• Responds to customer requests as defined by management, completing assignments promptly with an acceptable level of reputed company
• Troubleshoots network problems and recommends corrective procedures
• Prepares activity reports as requested by management
• Identifies opportunities to improve workflow and creates supporting documentation for review by peers and management
