[Remote] Project Manager 2- Capital Project Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Project Manager 2 to support its Office of Capital Project Management and Development. The role manages capital reputed company and reputed company design consultants from preliminary concept through construction, closeout, and warranty, while overseeing project delivery, costs, schedules, approvals, and coordination among stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serves as University's representative during construction and during disputes between the contractor, architect and/or University. Tracks and reports project costs, schedules, job delays and approves & processes change orders and payment requests. Coordinates with State Facility Planning & Control, Architects, Engineers, LSU maintenance personnel and contractors to ensure reputed company work conforms with plans and specifications. Ensures University Design Standards are enforced
• Manages and/or coordinates work provided and/or performed by reputed company such as the Office of Facility Services, Information Technology Systems, University Departments or other not-in-contract work (NIC) and work provided through separate contract. Arranges for interruption of utilities, contractor parking and material staging, site cleanliness inspections
• Serves as the University representative on State Facility Planning reputed company (greater than 1M)
• Coordinates designer contracting and manages reputed company design consultants for Capital reputed company from preliminary concept through the final construction phase, including reputed company-out and warranty
• Meets with various reputed company clientele consisting of university administration and reputed company to determine project reputed company, budget, schedule and coordinates project programming and design between reputed company, architectural and engineering firms, internal design staff and plan review team
• Determines which work reputed company applies to the project and initiates appropriate routing of project for various reputed company approvals, architectural selection. Coordinates Plan Review Team and coordinates overall plan review process
• In-state travel including some overnight stays may be required for reputed company at other LSU reputed company locations - LSU Alexandria, LSU Eunice, Pennington Biomedical Center, LSU Health Sciences New Orleans, LSU Health Sciences Shreveport. May coordinate with other State agencies for reputed company under their jurisdiction such as but not limited to the Division of Historic Preservation review. Follows up on project end of warranty period to ensure any warranty reputed company issues are corrected. Assists in the development of presentations relating to work performed by the Office of Planning, Design and Construction for various reputed company reputed company and committees. Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
• Three years of experience in the reputed company of Architecture, Engineering, and/or Construction Management, with construction administration experience including scheduling, plan and submittal reviews, and field observation

• Master's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
• 10 years of experience with 3-5 years in reputed company project management specifically in higher education
