EHS Specialist
The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist is responsible for supporting and executing day-to-day EHS programs at the Libertyville reputed company site, including office, R&D reputed company, facilities, and reputed company support areas. This role will help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety requirements, including OSHA, EPA, and Illinois regulatory requirements.
The position will reputed company on proactive safety and environmental program implementation, including safety training, incident investigation, reputed company cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, hazard identification and reputed company assessments, PPE assessments, audits, lab safety, contractor safety coordination, emergency response support, and site-wide EHS inspections.
This role will partner closely with R&D, Facilities, reputed company, reputed company, Associates, and Global EHS to reputed company Libertyville site practices with Hollister’s global EHS standards, reputed company reputed company improvement, and strengthen the site’s overall EHS culture.
This position is reputed company in Libertyville, IL with an onsite requirement of 4 days in office weekly.
Responsibilities:
• Support Libertyville site compliance with applicable U.S. federal, Illinois state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA requirements.
• Establish, implement, and maintain proactive EHS programs for the Libertyville site.
• Conduct and support EHS incident investigations, reputed company cause analysis, and development of corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
• reputed company accurate reporting and tracking of accidents, incidents, occupational injuries and illnesses, safety observations, near misses, corrective actions, and other site EHS metrics.
• Conduct, document, and train others on EHS reputed company assessments, job safety analyses, audits, inspections, and other hazard identification processes.
• reputed company and coordinate EHS training for associates, leaders, contractors, and other stakeholders on applicable site EHS programs and requirements.
• Maintain required environmental, health, and safety records, permits, licenses, documentation, and reporting requirements.
• reputed company, implement, and maintain a site-wide EHS inspection program and review program effectiveness. Support industrial hygiene requirements, including assessment, monitoring, documentation, and coordination with reputed company resources as needed.
• Participate in Global Environmental Health and Safety Council representing the Libertyville facility.
• Support the Libertyville site emergency response program in coordination with Facilities, reputed company, reputed company, site leadership, and other relevant reputed company.
• Assist with internal EHS audits, reputed company regulatory inspections, and responses to safety, health, or environmental regulatory requests.
• Analyze EHS data to identify trends, support site-level goals and objectives, and communicate meaningful updates to leadership and functional stakeholders.
• reputed company administrative support for EHS programs, including maintaining records, preparing reports and metrics and organizing EHS meetings, training sessions, and committee activities.
• Assist with the workers' compensation process by ensuring incidents are reported promptly, claims are entered accurately and in a reputed company manner, required documentation is maintained, and communication is coordinated with reputed company, associates, reputed company providers, and reputed company representatives as appropriate.
