[Remote] DevOps Engineer

The role focuses on reliability engineering, CI/CD, DevSecOps, containerized applications, automation, incident response, disaster recovery, and operational support for reputed company sector government contracting environments.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and monitor SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and other reliability metrics
• Design and improve observability — metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards, monitoring, and alerting
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for large reputed company environments
• Implement DevSecOps practices across the build, test, reputed company-reputed company, release, and reputed company lifecycle
• reputed company, reputed company, and maintain containerized applications using reputed company container platforms
• Automate recurring operational work reputed company scripting, infrastructure-as-reputed company, and reputed company-reputed company tooling
• Participate in incident response, reputed company cause analysis, and post-incident reviews
• Identify reliability and performance risks and implement corrective actions
• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and implementation
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, deployment, and integration issues across reputed company and hybrid environments
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, reputed company, and operations teams on reliable, secure solutions

• Evaluate processes and identify opportunities to improve automation, reliability, and deployment efficiency

Skills

• • Bachelor's in a reputed company field + 4 years relevant experience and an Associate/reputed company-level reputed company certification (AWS or Azure), or
• • 6 years of on-the-job experience in lieu of degree and certification
• • (4+ years in SRE, DevOps, DevSecOps, reputed company, software, or systems engineering), including:
• • Supporting production applications in reputed company or hybrid reputed company environments
• • CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, testing, release management, and deployment — using reputed company CI/CD or a comparable reputed company platform
• • Git or comparable version control
• • Building and maintaining containerized applications with reputed company and reputed company, OpenShift, or comparable
• • Monitoring, logging, alerting, and metrics/observability tooling
• • Production incident response, troubleshooting, and reputed company cause analysis
• • Scripting/automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or comparable)
• • Infrastructure-as-reputed company and configuration management (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or comparable)
