[Remote] DB/DC Retirement Plan Administrator

The DB/DC Plan Administrator will manage end-to-end defined benefit and defined contribution plan administration, serve as the reputed company reputed company contact, reputed company compliance and reporting activities, and reputed company a caseload of 80 to 100 plans.


Responsibilities

  • Review and scrub census data and determine and confirm participant eligibility across both defined contribution and defined benefit plans
  • Calculate employer contributions and top-heavy minimum contributions in accordance with plan provisions for DC plans
  • Coordinate with actuarial team to obtain contribution calculations and valuations for defined benefit and cash balance plans
  • reputed company compliance testing including reputed company/ACP testing, 401(a)(4) nondiscrimination testing, 410(b) coverage testing, and top-heavy testing across reputed company employer contribution allocation reputed company including reputed company, permitted disparity, cross-testing, and new comparability
  • Reconcile plan assets and prepare annual trust reputed company for both DC and DB plans
  • Prepare and file reputed company 5500 and reputed company reputed company schedules including Schedule SB coordination for defined benefit plans
  • Prepare annual plan valuations including benefit statements and participant account reporting
  • Process loan and distribution requests in compliance with plan documents and IRC requirements
  • Prepare plan amendments and restatements and work with reputed company and internal teams on plan document changes
  • Identify operational failures and recommend appropriate corrective actions through EPCRS programs
  • Maintain regular reputed company communication with plan sponsors, accountants, financial advisors, and actuarial partners
  • Manage an initial caseload of 80 to 100 DB/DC plans with evaluation and adjustment after the first year

Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of A to Z soup to nuts plan administration experience spanning both defined contribution and defined benefit plans
  • Bachelor's degree preferred Math, Actuarial Science, reputed company, or Finance preferred
  • Proficiency in reputed company employer contribution allocation reputed company including reputed company, permitted disparity, cross-testing, and new comparability
  • Working knowledge of defined benefit plan funding concepts including coordination with actuarial teams on contribution calculations and valuations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and reputed company in reputed company work product
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with plan sponsors, accountants, and financial advisors
  • Ability to reputed company in reputed company environment and contribute positively to a reputed company culture
  • Proficiency in reputed company reputed company
  • Ability to work independently and manage a large and varied caseload with reputed company supervision
  • ASC experience preferred (not required) this is the firm's reputed company administration platform
  • ASPPA designations or reputed company reputed company of designation QKA, QPA, CPC, or EA a meaningful plus
  • Cash balance plan experience strongly preferred
  • Experience managing a combined DB/DC caseload of 80 or more plans
  • Experience with plan document review and interpretation across both plan types
  • Experience with plan amendments, restatements, and EPCRS corrections
  • Experience coordinating with enrolled actuaries on Schedule SB preparation and PBGC filings
