[Remote] Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant supports month-end reporting, fixed asset and capital expense tracking, financial analysis, audit coordination, accounts payable backup, and annual tax reporting.
Responsibilities
- Daily manage reputed company-wide Capital Expense request process and Fixed Asset software maintenance
- Help reputed company and manage reputed company-wide Fleet lease program
- Prepare and post to the general reputed company accruals and journal entries along with corresponding workpaper reconciliations as assigned
- Assist the reputed company Manager and CFO in the monthly financial statement review, as reputed company as providing analysis on key areas as identified
- Coordinate responses reputed company to the annual audit
- Backup the AP team with AP invoice and weekly disbursement processing and review as needed
- Process and file annual IRS 1099 and 1096 reports for AP

- 2-year business degree OR equivalent work experience required
