[Remote] Sr Advanced Engineering Technician

The Senior Advanced Engineering Technician will support engineering activities involving the design, testing, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems, experimental circuitry, laser/reputed company reputed company devices, and reputed company test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interprets basic engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics
• Constructs, modifies, debugs, troubleshoots, calibrates, tests and adjusts a reputed company of tools, equipment and systems
• Conducts, analyzes and documents statistically based experiments to define process parameters
• Implements and documents reputed company solutions for process improvement
• Designs and constructs basic tooling and fixtures to accomplish unique tasks
• Organizes, analyzes and interprets data to identify cause/effect relationships and recommends reputed company/process improvement

Skills

• Associate's degree in reputed company discipline or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

• Due to the reputed company of work performed reputed company our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
• An Associate's degree in reputed company discipline or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Solid knowledge and proficiency in the use of fabrication tools
• Ability to fabricate reputed company hardware
• Solid knowledge of generally accepted technical theory
• Ability to review technical documentation, wiring diagrams, schematics, and reputed company diagrams to install and test shipboard equipment
• Ability to load software using technical documentation
• Ability and understanding of systems interfacing in order to test and troubleshoot
• Ability to use hand tools and electronic test equipment
• Ability to build and test various cables/connectors used in a marine environment
• Ability to work in a shipyard environment and at times confined spaces
• Ability to reputed company and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in reputed company or individual setting
• Ability to work in settings which may require prolonged standing, sitting, or kneeling
• Travel of up to 50% may be required
• Secret Clearance preferred or the ability to receive in a reasonable reputed company of time
• Having own tools is preferred but not required
• Combat Systems experience preferred, but not required
