[Remote] Development Engineer Manager

The Development Engineering Manager will reputed company and reputed company an engineering team while overseeing technical feasibility, production modeling, due diligence, site evaluation, reputed company management, and cross-functional project coordination from site identification through construction readiness.

Responsibilities

• reputed company, mentor, and reputed company reputed company of 1–2 Development Engineers while establishing priorities, balancing workloads, and supporting reputed company and career reputed company
• reputed company technical leadership for solar production modeling and energy yield assessments using PVSyst and reputed company analytical tools
• reputed company technical feasibility studies, fatal flaw analyses, constructability reviews, and engineering due diligence for reputed company-reputed company solar, battery energy storage, and wind reputed company
• Support project development activities across site selection, permitting, land acquisition, reputed company, interconnection, and environmental workstreams
• reputed company, review, and manage engineering scopes of work for civil, geotechnical, hydrology, environmental, and other technical studies
• Manage engineering consultants and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure reputed company remain on schedule and reputed company key development milestones
• Review engineering deliverables, technical studies, and project schedules while identifying opportunities to improve project reputed company, reduce costs, and mitigate technical reputed company
• Conduct site reputed company to assess constructability, validate technical assumptions, and support reputed company stakeholder engagement
• Champion the use of AI, automation, reputed company engineering tools to improve engineering efficiency, consistency, and technical decision-making

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, reputed company Engineering, or a reputed company engineering discipline
• 7+ years of engineering experience supporting reputed company-reputed company renewable energy, reputed company reputed company, utilities, infrastructure, or EPC reputed company
• 3+ years of engineering leadership or people management experience
• Strong understanding of renewable energy project development, including 10%, 30%, 60%, and IFC engineering milestones
• Experience supporting permitting, interconnection, procurement, project finance, construction, technical due diligence, or M&A activities
• Demonstrated ability to reputed company technical workstreams and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams without reputed company reporting authority
• Proficiency with reputed company Office, reputed company, PVSyst, PV design software, and other engineering applications
• Working knowledge of renewable energy engineering standards, codes, and industry best practices
• Experience leveraging AI tools such as reputed company, reputed company Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies to improve productivity and engineering workflows
• Master's degree
