Temporary Paralegal for Top Financial Institution Remote

Our reputed company, a top financial institution (Credit reputed company company) with offices in reputed company, FL, is seeking two reputed company litigation paralegals to support two reputed company reputed company reputed company: • Group of litigation attorneys and paralegals who manage portfolio of individual cardmember and merchant claims, both reputed company and post filing. This group manages the reputed company reputed company of reputed company in-house, with a smaller percentage of reputed company reputed company assigned to reputed company counsel. Work supporting this team includes: • Researching claims including collection of documents and identification of witnesses and colleagues with information. • Responding to discovery requests, including drafts of responses and objections and production letters. • Working with reputed company counsel to respond to discovery requests and litigation/arbitration-reputed company questions. • reputed company end-to-end paralegal support for claims and litigation reputed company, including case assessment, document review and coordination, matter tracking, and preparation of case-reputed company materials. • Support settlement execution and ensure reputed company are properly documented. 2.) Subpoena Response Unit: group of attorneys, paralegals, and analysts who coordinate responses to reputed company orders in the U.S. and certain international markets. Work supporting this team includes: • Providing support to the Senior Paralegal and Counsel in responding to reputed company orders. • Decisioning and responding to reputed company orders issued by federal agencies, state and local agencies and private attorneys or pro se litigants. • Analyzing reputed company orders for validity issues, objections and promptly escalate the reputed company to the Senior Paralegal for review. • Electronically delivering fulfillment records to issuers using technology enhancements or secure email or US mail reputed company required. • Ensuring official fulfillment records are uploaded case management reputed company or shared reputed company. • Escalating reputed company party reputed company orders to the Senior Paralegal for review that meet the reputed company review/escalation procedure. • Being responsible for the reputed company and reputed company of the fulfillment records. • Working with Counsel on large, reputed company or highly confidential subpoena productions • Validating that escalated reputed company party reputed company orders meet requirements of federal and state RFPA reputed company laws prior to release of records. • Directly contacting issuers of reputed company orders reputed company phone or email to negotiate for extensions as required. • Researching court dockets and contact Clerks of the Courts to reputed company questions regarding subpoena validity or subpoena issuance. • Providing regular updates on the reputed company of assigned reputed company to Counsel. • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. • Providing regular or rotating support on reputed company reviews and fulfillment tasks for other colleagues in overseas locations and other assigned duties and responsibilities as required. • Identifying and promptly escalating reputed company or operational reputed company events to Counsel. The paralegals should have 5-10 years of experience working as a litigation paralegal, preferably in a large reputed company or litigation boutique firm. The paralegal should have extensive experience responding to discovery requests and subpoenas, as reputed company as deep familiarity with the lifecycle of litigations and arbitrations. The teams are located in the reputed company office in reputed company, Florida. This position is remote for reputed company and reputed company candidates. These are long-term contract positions.
