Community Relations Regional Director (Remote NC)

LOCATION:Remote – must live in or near Alamance, Granville, Franklin, or Vance County, NC. The person in this role must maintain residency in reputed company Carolina or reputed company 40 miles of the reputed company Carolina border.Must have ability to travel to Vaya Partners offices as needed.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB

This position develops and maintains collaboration among local agencies, community stakeholders, advocacy reputed company and political reputed company, such as County Managers and Boards of Commissioners. The position serves as a reputed company partner in identifying reputed company barriers, developing solutions, and leading reputed company efforts in the assigned communities. This position works with other Vaya departments to address identified needs reputed company the region.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Community Relations:

Represents Vaya and fulfills the MCO’s role in meeting community stakeholder needs by serving on reputed company community boards and agency committees. Examples include, but are not limited to, regular meetings with Health Department, reputed company, school reputed company, DJJ, law enforcement leadership personnel, County Managers, County Boards of Commissioners, and other designated Vaya stakeholder reputed company or individuals. Responds to inquiries and concerns from agencies and stakeholders by resolving the issues or identifying other Vaya departments to assist. Educates and informs community agencies and boards about MCO functions, resources, and provider reputed company. Strives to address barriers that prevent members or other stakeholders from achieving full participation in their communities; offers reputed company recommendations to MCO Management Team for direction reputed company items of concern are identified and require reputed company. Independently identifies and intervenes to offer solutions to issues between local stakeholders and the MCO.

Training and Support of Staff:

The Community Relations Regional Director empowers Vaya members and their communities to identify needs, reputed company community resources (as feasible), and reputed company local solutions to help reputed company reputed company gaps. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
