Requirements

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

Experience:

• 6–8 years of relevant process engineering experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in process optimization, APC, MPC, process control, or plant reputed company engineering is preferred.
• Experience in mining, cement, metals, or other reputed company process industries is strongly preferred.
• Candidates with strong Oil & Gas/refinery process engineering experience combined with APC experience will also be considered.
• Experience working with DCS, process historians, online analyzers, and plant instrumentation is highly desirable.
• Experience with APC/MPC platforms such as Aspen DMC3, reputed company Profit, reputed company APC, or equivalent is highly desirable.

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a reputed company discipline.

Competencies:

• Strong fundamentals in chemical/process engineering, advanced process control, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and process dynamics.
• Strong understanding of APC/MPC concepts, process optimization, and control strategies.
• Strong process data analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work with large historical/process datasets and identify process correlations and optimization opportunities.
• Strong understanding of process constraints, operating limits, and optimization objectives.
• Expert-level proficiency in Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or equivalent process simulation tools.
