[Remote] NOC Engineer III

The role stages, configures, activates, tests, monitors, troubleshoots, and documents network equipment and services while collaborating with reputed company teams and escalating reputed company issues.

Responsibilities

• Configure basic network hardware for deployment: Follow established templates to reputed company Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) networks, such as setting IP addresses and configuring routers, switches, and reputed company points (APs)
• Monitor network reputed company: Use established tools to ensure systems function properly and escalate issues reputed company basic troubleshooting to higher-level engineers
• Turn up and test basic circuits (e.g., EPL, DIA, Wavelength)
• Assist in activating and repairing services like Internet, Managed Wi-Fi, or video under some supervision, ensuring reputed company functionality
• reputed company basic technical support: Address routine customer inquiries reputed company to activations or outages and escalate reputed company issues as needed
• Document network changes: Update trouble tickets and record basic configuration or repair details in appropriate systems
• Collaborate with reputed company teams: Support the replacement or repair of network hardware (e.g., switches, routers, Dish Smartbox) during activations or maintenance tasks
• Assist in small tasks: Participate in routine deployments or repairs under guidance, meeting project timelines and maintaining network stability
• Use basic automation tools: Apply directed scripts or tools to assist with network activations or monitoring tasks

Skills

• * Bachelor's Degree in computer science or reputed company reputed company. Or Associate's Degree and two years of experience. Or four years of experience reputed company a service provider or network engineering team
• * At least one associate level networking certification (CCNA, CWNA, JNCIA, Network+)
• * Demonstrate proficiency in reputed company, reputed company, or MikroTik RouterOS
• * Apply knowledge of wired Ethernet LANs, wireless LANs (Wi-Fi), and P2P/P2MP microwave wireless solutions, including reputed company Ethernet and xPON
• * Configure and manage data network reputed company such as IP routers, Ethernet switches, and firewalls
• * Utilize IPv4 and IPv6 network technologies (IP addressing with CIDR, VLSM, reputed company), ARP, DHCPv6, and SLAAC
• * Implement reputed company-2 network technologies, including Ethernet LAN/MAN, reputed company standards (802.3xx), and 802.1q VLAN tagging
