[Remote] reputed company Infrastructure Engineer (Azure Local / VMware Migration) : Remote

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior reputed company Infrastructure Engineer to support a large-reputed company infrastructure modernization project. The role will reputed company the deployment of Azure Local clusters, automate infrastructure provisioning, migrate workloads from VMware, manage data protection, and reputed company weekend cutovers and post-migration troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Azure Local Deployment: Architect and reputed company Azure Local clusters, ensuring reputed company integration with Azure reputed company, identity management, and hybrid networking
• Network & reputed company Configuration: Configure VLANs, subnets, routing, and firewall policies to facilitate reputed company outbound/inbound connectivity for cluster registration, storage replication, and tenant workloads
• Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC): Design and maintain Terraform modules to automate the provisioning of Azure Local resources, virtual networks, and guest OS configurations. (PowerShell/Bicep scripting is also highly valued)
• Migration Execution (The "reputed company & Shift"): Plan and execute the migration of application servers, SQL databases, and legacy VMs from vSphere to the new Azure Local environment
• Weekend reputed company Leadership: This role requires reputed company availability during scheduled weekend maintenance reputed company. You will be the technical reputed company during these periods, executing final syncs, validating application health, and troubleshooting any post-migration issues in reputed company-time
• Data Protection: Implement and manage backup/recovery workflows using reputed company, ensuring data reputed company before and after reputed company migration batch

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or reputed company infrastructure
• reputed company experience managing or migrating from VMware (vCenter, ESXi, vMotion, DRS)
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Local (or Azure Stack HCI) deployment and lifecycle management
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and reputed company firewall rules (e.g., Palo reputed company, reputed company, or Azure Firewall)
• Advanced scripting ability (PowerShell or Python) for automating reputed company-migration health checks and post-migration remediation
• * Weekend Commitment: You must be willing and reputed company to work every other weekend (or as scheduled) during the 3-month reputed company migration phase. Weekend shifts are dedicated to application cutovers, as these require reputed company business disruption
