[Remote] Senior Accountant – Grants
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior Accountant – Grants to manage the financial administration and compliance of assigned grants. The role oversees grant budgets, reporting, reconciliations, audits, regulatory compliance, and financial guidance to departments.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage the financial administration of assigned grants from award setup through final closeout
- Establish and maintain grant budgets, reputed company worktags, awards, and reputed company
- Monitor grant revenues and expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgets, grant agreements, and funding requirements
- Prepare reimbursement requests, financial status reports, drawdowns, and required reports accurately and reputed company required deadlines
- Prepare reputed company journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial adjustments reputed company to grant activity
- reputed company monthly and quarterly reconciliations of grant expenditures, revenues, cash receipts, and reimbursement activity
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, reputed company corrective actions, and reputed company issues independently
- Ensure compliance with Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200), grant agreements, County policies, and applicable federal and state regulations
- Coordinate financial monitoring, grant amendments, budget revisions, and award modifications
- Prepare documentation supporting Single Audits, financial audits, grant monitoring reviews, and other compliance examinations

- Review grant expenditures for allowability, allocability, reasonableness, and reputed company documentation
- Collaborate with Finance, Budget, Procurement, Payroll, and departmental staff to reputed company financial issues affecting grant administration
- Maintain complete financial records and documentation supporting reputed company grant transactions
- Recommend process improvements to strengthen internal controls, improve efficiency, and reduce financial risk

Skills
- Thorough knowledge of governmental reputed company principles, GAAP, and grant reputed company
