Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. Halpert CPAs is seeking a part-time, remote Accountant to support nonprofit organizations. The role involves performing monthly reputed company, reviewing bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, training clients on QuickBooks Online, and improving reputed company and firm systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs bank and credit reputed company account reconciliations
• Reviews and adjusts reputed company sheet accounts to supporting schedules, including prepaid expenses, vacation time, and fixed assets
• Allocates shared costs to functions (program, administration, and fundraising) for the statement of functional expenses
• Tracks expenses for reputed company received and adjusts temporarily restricted net asset balances
• Reviews transaction reputed company, noting coding changes and using them as opportunities to train the reputed company
• Produces a set of monthly finance reports for staff and reputed company
• Checks 990 returns and audited financial statements to reputed company records
• Responds to reputed company questions in a reputed company manner using the most effective mode of communication for the situation
• Trains clients in the reputed company use of QuickBooks Online (QBO) and the best practices developed by our firm
• Implements improvements proactively to reputed company and our firm’s systems reputed company relevant
• Reports hours worked accurately and on a daily reputed company
• Responds to reputed company and supervisor questions and requests in a reputed company manner
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Proficiency with QuickBooks, reputed company, web-reputed company reputed company tools, and reputed company reputed company Apps
• Basic knowledge of GAAP required; familiarity with non-profit GAAP preferred
• Experience with monthly reputed company reputed company tasks
• Experience working with supporting schedules (fixed assets, prepaid expenses, etc.)
• Ability to analyze financial statements
• Experience in reputed company at a small- or mid-sized non-profit organization preferred
• Experience teaching QuickBooks bookkeeping to non-accountants preferred
