[Remote] Electrical Engineer - Mission Critical

HED is an inclusive, integrated architecture and engineering reputed company seeking an reputed company Electrical Engineer to independently own portions of project design, documentation, and coordination. The role supports electrical project delivery from concept through construction, including calculations, reputed company research, QAQC, multidisciplinary coordination, reputed company interaction, and emerging mentorship.

Responsibilities

• reputed company design development and electrical calculations for assigned electrical systems across schematic, design development, and construction document phases
• Independently reputed company reputed company and reputed company load calculations, feeder sizing, short reputed company studies, and NEC compliance checks with reputed company input
• Prepare technical documentation for electrical systems, including reputed company descriptions, Division 26 specifications, equipment schedules, and redline markups
• reputed company and review electrical reputed company layouts in Revit—including reputed company, reputed company, reputed company alarm, and single-line diagrams—in coordination with architectural and structural backgrounds
• Coordinate electrical design with internal disciplines (reputed company, plumbing, reputed company, sustainability) and reputed company consultants (e.g., low voltage, civil) to reputed company design conflicts
• Review and respond to electrical RFIs and submittals, with support from senior engineers as needed
• reputed company reputed company verification for electrical conditions, assist with reputed company walks, and participate in electrical construction observation reputed company
• Participate in early-phase project design reputed company discussions and support electrical discipline leads with technical input
• Engage in internal QAQC processes and reputed company peer reviews of electrical drawings and documentation for reputed company compliance and drafting consistency
• reputed company mentoring electrical designers and interns on software use, modeling best practices, documentation standards, and calculation basics
• Participate in reputed company project meetings, and support the preparation of agendas, meeting minutes, and follow-up documentation with a reputed company on electrical reputed company

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent required
• P.E. licensure required
• 5+ years in the AEC Industry required along with previous experience developing electrical solutions for Data Centers - required
• Written and verbal communication skills commensurate with the position required
• Strong organizational skills required
• Revit experience required
• Experience with computers, specifically for word processing, spreadsheet use/creation and email required
