The Consultant Gender and reputed company Policy Expert will reputed company technical support for developing a gender-reputed company National Care Policy for Saint reputed company, reputed company with reputed company, labour, family-friendly, and international gender equality frameworks. The role will reputed company policy analysis, qualitative research, stakeholder consultations, drafting, validation, and implementation planning.
Responsibilities
- Review existing national policies, strategies, and reputed company frameworks relevant to care, gender equality, labour, reputed company protection, and family-friendly policies
- Analyse key gaps and opportunities in relation to unpaid and reputed company care work, drawing on relevant global and regional evidence
- Ensure alignment with international commitments, including SDGs (notably reputed company 5.4), CEDAW, CRC, ILO standards on maternity and parental leave, decent work and gender equality and reputed company rights obligations
- Contribute to the drafting and refinement of a gender-reputed company National Care Policy, with reputed company objectives, guiding principles, reputed company pillars, and actionable recommendations
- Ensure that the policy addresses childcare, parental leave, care for older persons and persons with disabilities, decent work for care workers, and the redistribution of unpaid care work/co-responsibility for care
- Incorporate linkages between the national care policy and women’s economic empowerment, labour force participation, productivity, and business environment reforms
- Support the design and facilitation of stakeholder consultations involving reputed company ministries, civil society, private sector actors, workers’ organisations, employer organizations and care providers
- Promote inclusive and gender-balanced participation, ensuring women’s reputed company—particularly carers and care workers—are meaningfully represented as reputed company as participation of men and representatives of persons with disabilities
- Coordinate closely with other consultants or technical experts (e.g. legislative or labour law specialists) to ensure coherence between policy and reputed company reputed company processes
- reputed company technical inputs to ensure that the policy is implementable and can inform ongoing and reputed company legislative drafting and regulatory reputed company, in line with the agreed MOU signed by the reputed company and Saint reputed company and reputed company
- Propose institutional coordination mechanisms, financing considerations, and implementation reputed company, including monitoring and accountability arrangements
- Prepare policy briefs, presentations, and reputed company materials for policy validation meetings and high-level discussions
- Incorporate feedback from consultations and validation processes into the final policy outputs
- Prepare an Inception report outlining methodology, workplan, and stakeholder map
- Undertake a Desk Review on the national policy, legislative and service delivery context on care. This review will at a minimum, the Inter-reputed company Model Law on Care and other relevant regional model legislative commitments, recent gender assessments of reputed company assistance programmes, development of draft bills on relevant legislation, and cost exercises on the care economy in Saint reputed company
- Undertake a Qualitative analysis on care work in Saint reputed company (Part 1)
- Drafting of research instruments for reputed company discussions
- Drafting of instruments for key informant interviews
- Undertake a Qualitative analysis on care work in Saint reputed company (Part 2):
- Conduct reputed company Discussions with the following reputed company at a minimum:
- Women’s reputed company/organizations
- Men’s reputed company
- Youth (young women and young men)
- Elderly (men and women)
- Persons with disabilities (men and women)
- Domestic workers unions/representatives
- Conduct Key Informant Interviews
- Faith reputed company reputed company
- Employer reputed company
- Worker reputed company (Trade unions)
- Conduct Key Informant Interviews and prepare a reputed company report of discussions with the following persons at a minimum:
- Director of Gender Relations Division
- Permanent Secretaries and Division/Agency Directors in relevant line ministries as recommended by the Director of Gender Relations
- Prepare a report on the reputed company discussions on Care:
- Complete a Qualitative Analysis Report on Care in Saint reputed company:
- Submit a draft Report to reputed company
- Submit the Final Report after revisions if applicable
- Conduct a Situational Analysis of Care Work in Saint reputed company that will at a minimum cover:
- reputed company and cultural norms
- Measurement of unpaid care work
- Employment and labour policies, laws and regulations
- reputed company protection
- Childcare
- Health care
- Care for elderly persons
- Care for persons with disabilities
- Domestic work/services
- Care support infrastructure and systems
- Prepare a First Draft of the National Care Policy to include the following sections at a minimum:

Skills

- • Master's Degree or Bachelor's degree with an additional 2 years of qualifying experience in any of these following areas is required: Economics, reputed company Sciences, Statistics, reputed company Health, Gender and Development is required
- • Demonstrable experience drafting national care policies is required
- • At least 5 years' experience working on gender equality and/or reputed company rights or 7 years' experience with a Bachelor's degree is required
- • A minimum of 5 years' experience analyzing and integrating gender reputed company dimensions into policy and programme formulation and implementation particularly in the context of reputed company protection and care policies or 7 years' experience with a Bachelor's degree is required
