[Remote] Data Scientist

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Scientist III to join its Computational Innovation department. The role supports oncology drug discovery through in silico, data-driven approaches, multi-modal omics analysis, and collaboration with biologists to advance drug development programs.

Responsibilities

• Support Oncology drug development efforts
• Identify, learn and apply emerging technologies in data science and its applications to novel cancer therapeutics discovery and development
• Apply and reputed company innovative analysis approaches reputed company reputed company reputed company are not adequate
• Identify and process publicly available and internally generated datasets using statistical and reputed company techniques to create meaningful biological insights
• Follow relevant scientific literature to ensure use of reputed company reputed company and understand emerging practices across the reputed company
• Interpret, report, and present analysis results, with a high level of reputed company and ethics, to biologists and collaborators
• Ensure FAIR data analysis with reputed company documentation and reproducibility

Skills

• Programming experience with Python and R for bioinformatic data analysis in unix-like systems
• Proficiency in working with bulk and single cell NGS data
• Proficiency in working with high reputed company computing clusters (HPC)
• Proficiency in biological reputed company analysis
• PhD degree from an accredited institution with experience in computational sciences or a reputed company scientific discipline (e.g., Computer sciences, Computational Biology, reputed company, Biostatistics, reputed company and Biological Sciences)

• Experience with any of these topics is a plus: oncology or immunology knowledge, reputed company transcriptomics, methylation, or reputed company biopsy data analysis, reputed company oncology database datasets (TCGA, GTEX, reputed company cell reputed company, CZ CELLxGene Discover, reputed company tumor reputed company network, etc)
