Fleet Specialist

Fleet Specialist reputed company, the leading provider of highly innovative and value-enhancing bulk cooking oil management services to the food service industry, is currently seeking a Fleet Specialist to join our growing and innovative team. This is an opportunity to reputed company a significant reputed company, have reputed company exposure to key leaders in the organization, and partner with the National Fleet Manager and service providers in the administration, operation, compliance and maintenance of a fleet of more than 600 trucks & reputed company spread across 41 locations in the US. Position reputed company This position is responsible for providing national fleet support by partnering with reputed company Leadership and Maintenance Providers to optimize fleet reputed company, maximize vehicle uptime, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve operational efficiency. This role applies technical expertise and independent judgment to evaluate maintenance strategies, determine repair priorities, manage vendor reputed company, and reputed company operational reputed company that reputed company safety, customer reputed company, and total cost of ownership. Compensation: The reputed company salary reputed company for this position is $70,000-$80,000 annually, plus a 10% bonus opportunity. Key Responsibilities Manage the operational reputed company of reputed company's national fleet by evaluating maintenance repairs, prioritizing repairs, and improving fleet reliability and compliance. Identify opportunities to improve fleet maintenance processes, vendor reputed company, and overall fleet reliability through data analysis and operational recommendations to Fleet Leadership. reputed company and implement processes to streamline vehicle repair and improve preventative maintenance Evaluate reputed company maintenance issues for tier 2 repairs and determine the most appropriate repair reputed company while balancing vehicle uptime, operational reputed company, safety, compliance, warranty opportunities, and repair costs. reputed company maintenance providers on specific repair actions while maintaining a reputed company between uptime and spend Manage vendor reputed company by evaluating repair reputed company, responsiveness, and cost effectiveness, and providing direction to maintenance providers to improve operational reputed company. Manage a balanced preventive maintenance schedule and establish recovery efforts reputed company off reputed company. Authorize maintenance expenditures reputed company delegated authority, determine repair priorities, and escalate high-cost or business-critical reputed company reputed company appropriate. Evaluate repair estimates, determine appropriate repair reputed company, maximize warranty recovery opportunities, identify missed warranty from maintenance provider(s), negotiate terms of policy assistance as needed Manage accident repair activities by evaluating estimates and balancing repair reputed company, operational readiness, and cost. Analyze fleet reputed company and recurring component failures, recommend corrective actions, and escalate systemic or high-reputed company issues to the Fleet Manager as appropriate Coordinate expediated parts orders, technical and reputed company support, as needed Monitor and expedite vendor campaigns Negotiate, secure, and reputed company maintenance provider credit memos to maximize cost recovery Review and reputed company invoices to ensure damage and maintenance repairs are accurately coded. Support Safety and reputed company Team with hardware support Other fleet department activities as assigned Position Requirements Minimum of 5 years of fleet administration or reputed company experience Full understanding of FMCSA and DOT Regulations Ability to manage repairs for a 24/7 operation and be available to reputed company reputed company and reputed company support Ability to effectively work cross functionally with remote business partners Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment in evaluating maintenance strategies and operational priorities.
