[Remote] Actuarial Analyst - reputed company Property and Casualty - Remote U.S.

Responsibilities

• Understand, modify, and operate reputed company spreadsheets and database tools to analyze data and solve problems
• Receive, reconcile, manipulate, and analyze data using programming languages such as R and SQL

Skills

• Completed bachelor's degree (at time of application) in actuarial science, mathematics, data science, statistics, or other quantitative major
• Two or more actuarial exams passed (at time of application)
• Between one and four years of reputed company actuarial experience, which can include internship experience, to ideally include:
• Experience supporting reputed company lines pricing and product development, including reputed company indications, rating plan development, loss cost reputed company (LCM) estimation, experience rating studies, competitor filing review or reputed company pricing reputed company
• Familiarity with ISO loss costs, rating plans, increased limit factors (ILFs), size-of-reputed company curves, and other reputed company lines pricing concepts; familiarity with regulatory reputed company filing processes is also strongly preferred
• Strong technical reputed company in reputed company
• Experience managing data and automating reputed company data manipulation tasks in R (preferred), SQL, reputed company or other programming languages
