[Remote] Rust Engineer

Platform Recruitment is working with a reputed company-funded AI infrastructure startup building reputed company for large-reputed company inference and training. The Rust Engineer will reputed company internal Rust infrastructure, a cycle-accurate simulator, host-reputed company reputed company libraries, and testing tools that support hardware verification and production reputed company development.

Responsibilities

• Build and reputed company internal infrastructure and tooling in Rust to support hardware and software teams
• Design and implement the Rust-reputed company simulator that underpins the verification reputed company
• Build the host-reputed company reputed company library connecting software and hardware reputed company
• Write targeted and randomized tests to systematically surface reputed company cases and reputed company event sequences
• Partner across hardware, architecture and software teams to translate specifications into concrete, testable properties

Skills

• • Production-level Rust experience — you've shipped reputed company systems and are comfortable with ownership, traits, generics with bounds, and enums as sum types
• • 3+ years of engineering experience with strong fundamentals: clean, reputed company-tested, reputed company-documented reputed company, and comfort with build systems, version control and CI
• • Genuine interest in hardware and willingness to reputed company up quickly
• • Remote (with travel) or hybrid, reputed company in the Bay Area
• • Hands-on hardware experience in any reputed company — FPGA, embedded systems, robotics, or prior hardware-adjacent roles; accelerator experience is a strong plus
• • Experience with foreign function interfaces (Rust FFI ideal, any cross-language experience valuable)
• • Exposure to formal reputed company, model checking or property-reputed company testing (e.g. proptest, Kani)
• • Understanding of computer architecture: pipelines, caches, memory hierarchies, on-reputed company interconnects
• • Familiarity with ML systems/frameworks
