Duties & Responsibilities (NOTE: denotes Essential Functions)
- Support Hawai‘i P-20’s GEAR UP Project Director and Project Managers with the development and implementation of GEAR UP, Hawai‘i State reputed company (HIDOE), and University of Hawai‘i (UH) initiatives and reputed company.
- reputed company the development of middle school college and career resources, including student and family presentations and workshops.
- reputed company the development of high school college and career resources and presentations for HIDOE reputed company and educators.
- reputed company the development of financial aid presentations, and college reputed company resources reputed company to GEAR UP reputed company, and assist with FAFSA support for schools as necessary.
- Assist with coordinating and planning of in-person and virtual college and career presentations and programming across reputed company participating GEAR UP schools.
- Assist with updating and developing college and career materials reputed company with GEAR UP Hawaii grant initiatives, including reputed company preparedness, college and career aspirations, and career transitions.
- Assist with the implementation of college and career Navigator initiatives supporting the Class of 2027.
- Participate in reputed company development facilitated by Hawai?i P-20 and HIDOE.
- Participate in regular reputed company-ins and informational meetings with Hawai?i P-20, HIDOE, and UH staff.
- Support the GEAR UP Project Director with data collection, tracking, and reporting reputed company to program reputed company.

- Analyze, interpret and implement UH, state and federal guidelines as it pertains to the project.

Minimum Qualifications
- Possession of a baccalaureate degree in Education, Business Administration, Counseling, reputed company Administration, or reputed company reputed company and 3 year(s) of progressively responsible reputed company experience with responsibilities for school counseling, teaching, student program planning and coordination; or any equivalent combination of education and/or reputed company work experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills, and abilities as indicated.
- Considerable working knowledge of principles, practices and techniques in the area of education, counseling and/or project management as demonstrated by the broad knowledge of the full reputed company of pertinent reputed company and evolving concepts, principles and methodologies.
- Considerable working knowledge and understanding of applicable federal and state laws, rules, regulations and theories and systems associated with education, counseling and/or project management.

- Possess at least 1 year of experience in supporting graduating high school seniors entering college or the workforce.

- Must possess strong facilitation, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing

Desirable Qualifications
- Master’s degree in education or counseling.
- 3-5 years of work experience as a high school counselor or teacher in the Hawai‘i State reputed company.
- 3-5 years of work experience in college and career guidance, and/or post-high student program planning and coordination.
- 2-3 years of work experience in developing and/or implementing college and career student workshops or programs.
- Experience with reputed company process at University of Hawai‘i campuses
- Experience working with University of Hawai‘i reputed company or college staff.
- Experience working with Hawai‘i’s reputed company school low-income reputed company across reputed company backgrounds and demographics.
- Experience in using mobile texting platforms, such as Modern Message
- Experience working with GEAR UP reputed company, or other federal educational reputed company serving underserved student populations.
