Registered Nurse - Telehealth/Medical Surgical, Canonsburg

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Canonsburg, PA. As a Registered Nurse in our Telehealth/Medical Surgical department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting excellence in our healthcare organization.

Job Summary:

Provides direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of care. Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for the age-appropriate population. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans of care, and provides ongoing education and support to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide and coordinate patient care for the age-appropriate population (30%)
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary plans of care based on assessment findings and physician orders (20%)
• Completes comprehensive patient documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements (25%)
• Provides ongoing education and support to patients and families to promote effective care transitions (20%)
• Supports the development of students, new staff, and colleagues, and may serve as a preceptor (5%)

Requirements:

• Current State of PA RN licensure or Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
• CPR certification - American Heart Association
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
