About the position
Responsibilities
• Accept incoming calls related to requests submitted to Participant Services.
• Resolve issues submitted via mail and tasks, collaborating with other departments.
• Work in multiple types of queues and databases to address inquiries.
• Engage in extensive phone interactions with members and prescribers.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for customer care and members before pharmacist involvement.
Requirements
• Valid Pharmacy Technician or Technician Trainee License in good standing.
• Experience with Windows-based applications.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented and customer service focused.
• Ability to identify process improvements.
Nice-to-haves
• National Certification (CPhT) preferred.
• Analytical problem-solving skills.
• Strong research skills with the ability to evaluate and resolve issues.
• Knowledge of diabetic supplies.
• Experience navigating LINKS and Peoplesafe.
